"The caves of Haiti" exhibition world tour

Underground treasures from the Haitian natural underground heritage keep fascinating! After Martinique and Haiti, Canada is now hosting the exhibition.

In Haiti

After the success of the exhibition in Paris, the Institut Français in Haiti, partnering with the Bureau National d’Ethnologie and support from Suez, welcome the exhibition in Haiti starting nov 11, 2015.

It will then tour in the country in the Alliance Françaises during spring 2016 : Cap Haitian, Les Cayes, Gonaives, Jacmel and Jeremie, showing these natural wonders accross the country. And carry the message of protecting this fragile heritage.

It wil then come back to Port-au-Prince in June 2016.

In Martinique

The exhibition was previously displayed on nov 3rd, 2015 until end of december at CDST (Geo-Sciences Discovery Center) in Martinique. After volcanology, astronomy, mineralogy the center now feature speleology! The building hosting the exhibition is an impressive quakeproof structure dedicating to promoting earth sciences. During 2 months, visitors could discover the results of 5 years of speleological explorations in the haitian caves by the team. (Exhibition at CDST Martinique: more information here).

In Canada

Visitors in Canada will have the opportunity to visit the "Caves of Haiti" exhibition from march 23rd to mai 8th at the TOHU art centerin Montreal. More information on our dedicated website https://exposition.grottesdhaiti.org.
